OBSBOT Talent 2 — all-in-one multi-cam live streaming and production studio

The OBSBOT Talent 2 is OBSBOT’s second-generation all-in-one live production studio: a 4K multi-camera switcher, encoder, recorder, monitor and camera controller in a single 7-inch unit. It launches worldwide on 15 September 2026, won Future’s Best of Show at NAB 2026 (presented by TV Tech), and is available to pre-order now from Dynamiccom, an authorised OBSBOT distributor in South Africa.

Bring in up to 17 video sources — four HDMI, three USB and ten live IP feeds over NDI, SRT, RTSP or RTMP — switch them on the 800-nit AMOLED touchscreen, and stream true 4K to four platforms at once. No laptop, capture card or external mixer is required.

What’s new in the OBSBOT Talent 2

• 7-inch AMOLED touchscreen at 800 nits — up from 5.44 inches and 350 nits on the original Talent. 1920 × 1080, 10-bit colour, 100 000:1 contrast, anti-fingerprint coating; readable outdoors.
• 17 video sources — 4× HDMI 2.0 inputs (HDMI 1 and 2 accept up to 4K60, HDMI 3 and 4 up to 1080p60), 1× USB-A 3.0 and 2× USB-C 3.0, plus up to 10 simultaneous live IP sources. The original Talent handled 7.
• True 4K60 streaming to up to four destinations simultaneously, in 16:9 landscape or 9:16 vertical shows, at bitrates up to 120 Mbps.
• 4-channel ISO recording while you stream — MP4 or MOV to the 128 GB internal storage, a microSD card or a USB SSD, with files split by time or size for easy post-production.
• 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and a 5G SIM slot — four antenna connectors and Smart Network Bonding combine Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular into one stable high-bitrate connection (availability varies by region and plan).
• Multi-screen monitoring — two HDMI 2.0 outputs and a USB-C DisplayPort output extend program, preview or multi-view to an external monitor, and an external touchscreen can control the unit in Duplicate Screen mode.
• Smart Auto Switching — sequential, random or Video-Follows-Audio, so interviews, podcasts and meetings cut to the active speaker without an operator.

Built for the OBSBOT ecosystem

Pair the Talent 2 with the OBSBOT Tail 2, OBSBOT Tail Air or OBSBOT Tiny 3 and it becomes the control room: PTZ control, AI Tracking, image adjustment and preset positions for up to three OBSBOT devices from one interface, with the Tail Air Smart Remote Controller supported. OBSBOT launches the Talent 2 worldwide on 15 September 2026. OBSBOT Talent 2 — frequently asked questions

Do I still need a computer? No. Cameras, audio, network sources and streaming platforms all connect directly to the OBSBOT Talent 2 for most live productions; a PC is only needed if you want to feed streaming software over the USB-C UVC output.

Do all four HDMI inputs take 4K? HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 accept up to 4K60; HDMI 3 and HDMI 4 accept up to 1080p60.

Can it stream over 4G or 5G? Yes — through the built-in 5G SIM slot, a USB modem, or USB tethering from a phone, and Smart Network Bonding can combine that with Ethernet and Wi-Fi.

Does it work with non-OBSBOT cameras? Yes, any camera with a standard HDMI output. OBSBOT cameras additionally unlock PTZ control, AI Tracking and preset management from the Talent 2 interface.
